Lipstick and apologies

Raygen POV

"Hey, ma" I hugged her.

"Hey, baby. How's my girl?"

"Eh.. I been living. What are you doing here?"

"Nicki invited me over for a girls day" she fixed my clothes and played in my hair.

"Maaaa.. hands off" I whined.

"UM, HELLO RAYGEN? AM I INVISIBLE?" Sherika yelled.

"Oh my gosh, rika hi!" I hugged her around her neck.

"I promise I didn't see you there" I giggled.

"It's cool. Are you coming with us today?" She asked.

"Im guessing im not invited because Onika didn't mention anything to me about a girls day out" I frowned.

"NICKI!" I yelled.

"Chill ray" rika laughed.

"No im mad"

I walked out of the kitchen to see Nicki kissing my phone.

"What the.." then I remembered.. Scaff. I squealed on the inside. I hid behind the wall in front of the kitchen when I seen her turn around and flick him off. She just kissed him and now she's saying fuck him? I will never understand her bipolar ass.

When I seen her walk back into the kitchen, I ran and plopped down on the couch.

"What just happened?!" I squealed.

"Woahh.. I didn't think you were coming back. I was just about to hang up"

"Tell meeeee" I whined

Safaree POV

"She told me she missed me" I popped my imaginary collar.

"You must have said something real sweet for this lipstick stain to be on my phone" she giggled.

"Im getting her back today, ray. I have to. I miss her so much"

"How?"

"I know all about the girls day out and where it's gonna be. I have a plan"

"Wait.. she told you and not me?! She doesn't even like you!"

"Chill.. manny knows her every move. I just hit him up whenever I wanna know what Nicki's up to" I laughed.

"It's still not fair how im not invited" she folded her arms.

"Listen, ray. You have to understand that you're a kid and Nicki is an adult. Some stuff she talks about, she doesn't want you to hear. But maybe she thought you had plans or something"

"You know what? Whatever. Maybe I will make plans since you two are back on each other's side. You're supposed to be on my side!" She pouted.

"Raygen I didn't say I was on anybody's side" I chuckled.

"Exactly. Because you're automatically supposed to be on mine. Good bye, scaff" she hung up.

I shook my head. She's def been hanging around her mentor too long because they're both sensitive as hell over dumb shit. I got up to take a shower and shave. I dont know how I just let myself go like that. Nicki is my other half and when she's away from me ya boy is a complete mess. I need to stop being a pussy over her though. It's time for me to show her who's boss. After she sees how fresh im looking today she aint gon' wanna keep her hands off a nigga.

Nicki POV

"You know raygen is mad because you aint invite her right?" Rika said.

"What? I thought she was going out with jaylen?"

"Apparently not. She's livid" she laughed.

"Shit. I hate when she's mad at me. She's just like me when she's mad, it takes her a while to get over something" I sighed.

"Oh, she'll be fine" ameena said from the back seat.

"And how would you know that?" I asked. I looked at her from the rear view mirror.

"Well it just seems like she doesn't. It's not that big of a deal and if I know my daughter, she'll get over it."

"If you know your daughter huh? You've only been in her life for 3 weeks so I advise you sit back and shut up. Thanks" I rolled my eyes.

"Yo nicki, chill! What's up with you?"

"No, she's right. Raygen hates me and it's obvious"

"Im sorry, ameena" I sighed and rested my head on the steering wheel.

"I feel like raygen is my daughter and I've grown to know her so well in these 3 months. I love her and roland so much" I pouted.

"Im glad she has someone as wonderful and real as you in her life, Nicki. Honestly. Im a complete failure for being out of their lives for 17 years and I know they haven't fully forgave me" she started crying.

"Hey, heyyy.. cut it out with the water works okay? I set this day up to be drama and stress free. Your kids love you. Maybe not as much as you want them to but it's gonna take some time. You have to bond with them. I apologize for getting jealous"

"Girl dont even mind nicki. She just needs some dick"

"She aint the only one" ameena laughed.

"Rika just cuz you have a man and get daily dick doesn't mean you can call me out okay. Speaking of him... is he packing? For a white boy?"

"That's for me to know hoe"

"Come on, rika! We talk about shit like this! Were sisters"

"Yeah we do but not when a newbie's around"

"Well.. I've had 2 kids by a white boy and my, my, my.."

"Yo, your country accent is so cute! Where did you get it from if you grew up here in cali?" I laughed.

"I moved to Atlanta for 5 years after I was diagnosed with the big C. Girl I've experienced all types of dick" she laughed.

"Ahhhh! You have to tell us all about it!"

"Son what the fuck. Are we gonna sit in this parking lot and talk the whole time or are we gonna go and get this shit started? Cuz if not bring me home. I want my booty rubbed"

"Im not even gonna acknowledge that last sentence. Did you talk to candi?"

"Nah she wasn't answering. Im gonna call my baby though"

"NO! Sherika no. Gimme your phone! No men today" I reached over and we started playing tug a war with her phone.

"Gimme the damn phone or get out my car!" She let go and huffed.

"I cant stand you"

"If yall are gonna fight the whole time I think i should drive"

"You've been around us long enough for us to start digging in dat ass too so I think you should keep your two cents to yourself,  meena peena" sherika laughed.

"Bitch please" ameena said.

Me and sherika looked at each other, then back at her shocked.

"What?"

"We never heard you cuss before!" We all started bussing out laughing.

"Yall brought it out of me" she pouted.

"It's cool. But let's go before were late for this reservation. Rika, call candi" I put the car in drive and off we went.

Candi POV

"Hello?"

"Where are you baaaaaby?"

"Nic im sorry. I cant make it. I have a date"
A held the phone to my ear as I put on the rest of my jewelry.

"Bitch what the fuck?! Why would you not tell us about this?!" She yelled

"What's wrong?" I heard sherika in the background.

"Because I just found out about it today. Calm your ass down, I promise I'll make it up to you"

"Are you atleast gonna tell us who it is?"

"Listen baby I'll tell you when we get serious okay? I dont wanna hype myself up. But you have a surprise coming your way too" I smiled in the mirror at my brother calling me today. I haven't heard from safaree in months.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Nicki if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise anymore. Dumb hoe. But I gotta go. I love you guys" I hung up and gave myself a once over in the mirror. I dont really like this color dress but it's his fave, so I guess it'll do"

Safaree POV

"What's up, beezy?! It's been a while" I put roland on speaker as I was walking out the hotel and to the car with my bags. Nicki aint stupid. If she love me like she say she do she'll let me move back in tonight. Im not gon' check out tho cuz shit can go down.

"Yoooooo what's crackin lil man? How you been?"

I asked. I put the bags in the trunk and slid down in my clean ass car. I put meek mill's new album in and turned it down low, pulling out the parking lot in style.

"I been fine. Im living with wayne now. I like it here but I miss Nicki and my sister. I was gonna pay them a visit today but they're both gonna be out so imma just chill with my girl"

"Aye, that's good to know man cuz I need your help with something"

"Okay cool with what?"

"So here's what were gonna do..."

Raygen POV

I put on some adidas sweatpants and a red jordan hoodie with my raptor 7 jordans. My hair was wild and curly on top of my head. I threw on a few licks of jewelry and ran downstairs, tripping in the process.

"Gaht damn step" I rolled my eyes and grabbed the benz keys off of Nicki's key rack and locked the doctor. Seeing as if I dont like Nicki or scaff right now I dont even know why im helping them. But his plan is pretty cute so I want to be apart of it. Plus I haven't seen roland in about 2 weeks. Im not used to being away from him this long.

Since Nicki doesn't fuck with this car anymore she said I can drive it occasionally. My phone vibrated in my lap and I laughed. That tickled.

"Hello?" I said without seeing who it was.

"Where you at?"

"BROTHERRRRRRR I MISSS YOU!"

"I miss you too, ray. So get ya ass here" roland laughed.

"I just left the house. I'll be there in 5 minutes"

"Aight" I hung up and turned up the radio. Drizzy's "Tuesday" came on and I danced in my seat.

"SQUAD GOING..UP! NOBODY FLIPPING PACKS NAAA! I JUST DID THREE INNA..ROW! THEM SHOWS IZ BACK TA BACK TA BACK NAAA! PUT THE WORLD ONNA..SONG! YOU KNOW PARTY ON THE WEEKEND! AINT GOT NO MUTHAFUCKIN TIME... TO PARTY ON THE WEEKEND!" I shouted the first verse. Im so hype for some reason.

I pulled into some rich ass plaza where the spa is. It's HUGE. I squealed when I seen scaff and roland standing out front. I tried to get out the car with my seatbelt still on but that was a fail.

"Owwww!" I frowned. They started walking towards me laughing and shaking their head. I was a success at taking off my seatbelt and ran and jumped in both of their arms. I had one arm on both of their shoulder and one leg wrapped around both of their waist hugging them.

"I missed you guys so much oh my god! Never leave me for that long again! Especially you, scaff!"

"Well if Nicki let's me back in I wont have to"

"Girl get the hell off of me" raygen snapped. I pinched his neck before dropping to my feet.

"So what's first scaff? This has to be perfect"

"Oh, I got everything in my trunk. She aint getting nothing too extravagant since her midget ass kicked me out" he pulled his pants up a bit and opened his trunk.

There were teddy bears, balloons, jewelry bags, chocolate boxes & shoe boxes.

"Nothing too extravagant, huh?!" I put my hand on my hip.

"And who you think is supposed to carry all of this?" Roland said.

"Man, listen. I said I'll give yall half of 1k each. There's two wagons in my backseat. Just put as much shit in there as yall can. The rest she can come out here and get herself. Then I have these cards that say "forgive me?" That I want yall to hold up... so we cool?"

Roland scratched his head and blew out a breath while I rolled my eyes.

"Get out of my way" I pushed past him and to the backseat to get the wagons.

"She better take ya big headed self back too"

Nicki POV

I let my robe slide down my back as we slid down into the mud pool. I looked over at ameena as she dropped her robe and my mouth dropped.

"Damn you look good. And after two kids? You're my role model" I said.

"Thank you, Nicki. Now pick up ya jaw" she giggled.

"Your body is flawless as hell too, mamas" she slid next to me and winked.

"Yeah yeah yeah"

Sherika got in and some of the mud spilled over the sides.

"Damn thickums" ameena laughed

"Fuck you" sherika said.

"Heyyy.. be nice" I closed my eyes and let my head rest on the white plush pillow that was laid resting on the edge.

"I miss safaree" I pouted. Flashbacks of him being between my legs and tasting my sweet spot came flowing to me. The time he put me in my place and almost kissed me.

"You actually miss him or you're just horny nicki?" Rika said. My eyes popped open.

"What?"

"She definitely didn't studder" meena said eating olives.

"I definitely wasn't talking to you"

"Nicki, seriously though. You need a man and you and safaree are the perfect fit. You're the only fit cause I dont know anybody else who can put up with your shit like he can. Hell, I have a hard time keeping up with you. Moral of the story is you need to give that man a chance" rika sighed.

"Yeah I mean seriously nic" meena said eating another olive.

"Safaree is fine as hell and looks like he can give good pipe. Dark skins are good for that shit" she said.

I laughed at her and stuck out my bottom lip.

"I'll give anything right now just to hear his voice"

"Nicki..."

"Oh, God. It's like I can hear him now"

Safaree POV

"Nicki..."

"Oh, God. It's like I can hear him now" I heard her say. I laughed and rubbed my hands together cuz they were sweating something heavy. I told ray and ro to wait outside the door just incase the girls were naked. I dont want them to come in until she forgives me though.

"Turn around, Nicki"

She picked up her head and took some cucumbers off her eyes.

"Safaree?" She said just above a whisper.

"Yo why do yall put them shits over yall eyes anyway? They get rid of bags or some shit?" I folded my arms and stared at all 3 of them. Nicki was smiling from ear to ear and rika rolled her eyes.

"Turn around so we can get out and put our robes on, fool" she said.

"Oh, nah. I think imma just step out. " I winked at Nicki and she giggled. I closed the door behind me and let out the breath I was holding.

"How's it going?" Ray asked. She smiled at her phone then put it back in her pocket.

"Well she's smiling so I feel good about that. I just stepped out so they can change but I want yall to come back in with me. Bring the gifts and hold yall cards up high so she can see them. And dont drop them cuz I dont want her thinking I cant do shit right. And dont talk until I-"

"Aye beezy chill! Just babbling about dumb shit. We all know you can do shit right" roland laughed.

"That's not true, scaff. You're very sweet for this and I know she'll appreciate the effort. But I say you deduct 200 from roland's half of the cut and give it to me" she kissed my cheek.

"Yall get on my nerves. Let's go" when we walked back in the spa room, rika and ameena were sitting in spa chairs getting pampered with drinks in their hands. And Nicki looks as if she was just about to come out the door which led her to bump into my chest.

"Oh gosh! sorry" she laughed.

"You good, shorty. But if I didn't know any better I'd say you were coming to spy on me" I smiled and grabbed her waist to move her back from me a bit. She closed her eyes and folded her lips.

"That's not what I was doing at all, safaree." She looked off to the side.

"Yeah whatever. Just come out here with me for a minute" I grabbed her hand but she jerked it back.

"Nicki I just wanna show you something.. is that alright?"

She slowly nodded her head.

"Here, I dont even have to touch you. Just walk in front of me" when I opened the door she stopped dead in her tracks.

There they were with everything set up perfect just like I asked of them. Roland was holding two signs that read "please" and "forgive". And raygen held up the sign that read "me" and a sign that had a question mark on it. They had two big teddy bears that was about the size of Nicki, but they were sitting around their necks. They had the shoe boxes and the chocolate boxes alligned around them in a heart and the wagons resting on each side of them with the gifts.

"My babies.." she put her hand over her mouth and threw her head back to keep from crying.

"Girl you better not drop no tears and he aint even say his speech yet" raygen said.

"Shhhh ray. He told us not talk to talk until he gave the say so" roland whispered.

"Scaff does not scare me" she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah but I want my money now shut up" he said.

"Really safaree? You're paying them to do this?" Nicki asked.

"Aye. It was the only way they would agree to it. Plus I thought it would be cute" I said while looking down.

"Come here, safaree" nicki said. I looked up kind of confused and went to stand in front of her.

"Tell me what's on your mind.." she semi whispered into my chest as she hugged me. I wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed the top of her head.

"Nicki im so sorry for putting you through all that drama. I love you so much and these past few weeks I've been away from you have been hell. I cant help it if these hoes want ya man. If they want what you got. And I know every nigga in the world want what I got, which is you baby. I'll give you my heart and so much more if you let me in. I wanna give you the world. I want about 3 or 4 little coons running around and tearing shit up around the house and calling me daddy." I pulled back and looked into her big light brown eyes.

"Moral of the story is all I want is you. I will never do anything to hurt you and I put that on my life. I want you to love me"

"I do love you, faree. You make me so happy and I've missed you so much. That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me" she sobbed.

"So do you forgive me?" I wiped her tears with my thumb and grabbed her face. She nodded her head as the tears continued to flow.

"Use your words. And stop crying, baby girl"

"Yes, faree I forgive you and I hope you forgive me too." She stroked my chin.

"Always, baby"

"Kiss me, faree"

That was all I needed. I grabbed her face with two hands and we locked lips. She put her hands on the back of my head and gave me some tongue. I placed my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to me. I felt a spark go through my spine as her fingernail traced the back of my neck. Our tongues wrestled and a moan escaped from her mouth. I heard what sounded like sniffling so I pulled back.

"I thought I told you to stop crying"

"That wasn't her, beezy" roland shook his head.

"Yall are just so cute I just... i just cant deal man" raygen cried. Nicki giggled for her and motioned for her to come here but ray put her hand up and shook her head.

"Nah imma let yall have yall moment" she took out her phone and took a picture.

"Hash tag relationship goals. Now let's see how many likes yall get" she sniffed and wiped her tears.

"You are something else" roland said.

"How you know they want they business out like that?" He folded his arms. Her eyes got wide and she started rubbing up and down her thighs. What the hell is wrong with this little girl.

"Shit yall I forgot. I'll delete it. But yall got 500 likes already. Fuck it up!" she stood up and started doing the harlem shake. Roland stood up and cosigned her as he started doing the heel toe. Nicki was on the floor laughing and I was looking at them like they were crazy.

"Yall fools are so embarrassing. Know that?" Nicki said.

"Yeah but yall love us." Raygen smiled.

"This has been fun and all, but we gotta go. Double date time" roland rubbed his hands together and folded his lips.

"Wait hold on. Did we say anything about letting yall go out tonight?"

"No but we was hoping yall would automatically say yes. We tryna be booed up just like yall" ray pouted.

"Hmm.. what you think about this safaree?"

"If they take this shit back to the car for me they're free to go. I just want some more loving" I grabbed nicki and kissed the side of her neck. She giggled.

"Oh my god, please get a room" roland gagged.

"Dont listen to him. I think yall should kiss again" raygen wiggled her eyebrows.

"Okay perv, let's rake this stuff back to the car before we're late"

"Wait I wanna say hi to mama first" she grabbed roland's hand and they pushed through the doors of the mud pool room.

Candi POV

I pulled my skirt down for the fifth time tonight as I entered the building of the restaurant. I tried to catch my breath after taking that long walk from the parking lot. Im such a fat ass. I walked through the restaurant looking for the handsome face that was in my facebook inbox.

"Candace?" Somebody behind me called. I did a 360 as I frowned. My eyes lit up as I seen a tall, handsome figure stand before me.

"How'd you know it was me?" I asked nervously.

"I think I know that thick shape pretty well from your photos" he laughed. Oh my god he has perfect teeth.

"Come. Let's have a seat" he pulled my chair from underneath the table and allowed me to sit down.

"Thank you" I smiled.

"You're welcome. Now. What do you do for a living?"

"Oh. Im a hair stylist. I even get called up by some celebrities. What about you? And I dont believe I caught your name"

"Well.. I coach the san francisco 49ers. It's a fun, well paying job. And my name is joshua. Joshua collins" he smiled.

"Do you have kids?" I asked. His smile faded and his eyes had this gloss to them.

"Actually, yes. I have two teenagers. One boy and one girl. But I've made a big mistake so they're not with me right now"

"Oh, my. Im sorry. Im sure you'll get them back" I smiled.

"I see you have my favorite color on. You look delicious in orange" he winked.

"Thanks." I blushed. This man made my insides tingle just by his tone of voice. Im not candi around him. Im candace. The sophisticated me. I just dont know why this hoe doesn't pop up more often.

"After we eat, would you be willing to go see a movie with me?" He asked.

"I would love that. As long as you're paying" we both laughed. This is gonna be a great night. I haven't been on a date since rex left me.
